Energy Performance Certificates (EPC's) became a legally required certificate that all properties for sale must have from 30th June 2008 and properties for rent from 30th December 2008.
This legislation means that for an Estate Agent to market your property, whether it is currently on the market or not is required to ask you for your EPC and without having received a copy they can not market your property.
Don't worry though as we at Pinkerton Murray like to offer the 'complete' service to our clients we will arrange to obtain the EPC for you, just let us know and one of our surveyors will call to your home at a convenient time to carry the assessment out.
